Welcome to our fitness blog! We're excited to share our fitness journey with you and hope to inspire others to take charge of their health and wellness. My husband and I have been on a fitness journey together for several years now. We are both in our 40s. In all honesty, our main fitness goal is to be healthy and not to become frail when we reach our senior years.
When we first started our fitness journey, we just jogged around the neighborhood. We realized that we wanted more flexibility and convenience in our workouts. But the pandemic hit.
That's when we decided to build our own home gym. It was a bit of an investment upfront, but we knew that having a dedicated space to work out in would be worth it in the long run.
We started by designating a space in our home for our gym. He did all the research on the equipment we would need.
Our first purchase was a couple of 3 lb dumbbells and a treadmill. We gradually added more equipment as we could afford it. It was a fun process to build out our home gym and it's been an amazing resource for us to stay fit and healthy.


In addition to building our own gym, we also created a workout plan that works for us. We both have different goals and preferences when it comes to fitness, so we tailored our plan to suit our individual needs. We typically work out separately since we have different workout routines that we do on our own.

His workout plan includes a mix of strength training and cardio while mine is more on cardio and mobility exercises. We switch up our routine every few weeks to keep things interesting. We also make sure to incorporate rest days into our schedule to allow our bodies to recover.
Overall, our fitness journey has been a rewarding and fulfilling experience, and we hope to share our knowledge and insights with others who are on a similar path. We believe that everyone has the ability to achieve their fitness goals, and we're excited to be a part of your journey.
